Vanilla Etc began its flavourful journey in 2011, ignited by the culinary passion of former chef Graham Bruce.
Frustrated by the challenge of finding top-tier vanilla products for his culinary creations, Graham embarked on a mission to bring high-quality vanilla to the UK. Creating Vanilla Etc, driven by the vision of delivering premium vanilla products to passionate chefs and home cooks alike.
In 2018/2019, the family bond strengthened as Graham’s daughters, Alexandra and Natalie, joined the enterprise. With each member contributing their unique expertise and dedication, Vanilla Etc flourished, embracing growth and innovation as integral parts of its identity.
In October 2019, Vanilla Etc proudly relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in Keighley, West Yorkshire, reflecting its commitment to excellence and expansion.
Our aim is to establish ourselves as the premier supplier of quality vanilla in the UK, extending our reach globally.
We import Vanilla directly from Madagascar, the vanilla capital of the world and manufacture award winning vanilla extracts and vanilla bean paste. We also supply Vanilla pods, powder and seeds to manufacturing businesses, home bakers, into food service and most recently into retail under our trading name Bonilla Madagascan.
We also mill our vanilla beans in-house into Vanilla Powder, offering greater control over product quality and paving the way for potential milling services for other businesses.
We have been SALSA Approved and certified since 2020 and are due to have our first BRCGS audit in January 2025.
