FDF Awards 2026 winners revealed
The Food and Drink Federation (FDF) has announced the winners of the FDF Awards 2026, celebrating the businesses, initiatives and individuals driving innovation, progress and excellence across the UK food and drink industry.
This year’s winners reflect the breadth of talent within the sector, with achievements spanning manufacturing technology, product development, sustainability, healthier diets, exports, skills and workplace culture.
The Manufacturing and Technological Innovation Award went to Siemens for the Frugal Bottle Assembly Machine 2, developed in partnership with Frugalpac. The high-speed machine produces paper bottles for wines, spirits and edible oils, increasing production capacity while reducing costs.
Flow Health Science received the Product Innovation Award for Klario®, a new approach to hypo recovery developed alongside diabetes specialists and people living with diabetes. HappyTapi Ltd was recognised for its tapioca-based prebiotic sweetener range with the Excellence in Supporting Healthier Diets Award.

Open Kitchen MCR took home the Food Waste Initiative Award for its surplus-led catering and community education model.
