Free From Food Awards announce 2025 Halloween winners

The results are in for this year’s Free From Food Awards Halloween category, celebrating the brands making seasonal treats safer and more inclusive for everyone with food allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences.
While Halloween continues to grow in popularity each year, it can often be a challenging occasion for those with food hypersensitivities. The Free From Food Awards are shining a light on the companies changing that narrative, creating products that are fun, safe, and deliciously spooky.
This year’s Halloween medallists are:
Gold:
Simply Toppers™ – 20 Halloween Trick or Treat Edible Toppers
A charming collection of edible decorations featuring black bats, cats, hats, and cauldrons. The deep black colouring runs throughout, with a metallic sheen that catches the light beautifully. Ideal for those seeking milk- and gluten-free baking decorations, these toppers are also vegan and kosher certified.
Silver:
Sweet Keto Chef – Halloween Chocolates
These handmade chocolates combine artistry and flavour, offering unique varieties such as Yuzu Matcha Zombies, Spiced Pumpkins, Salted Caramel Mummys, and Macambo Skulls. Made with erythritol as the main sweetener, they are fully keto compliant and free from sesame and gluten—a visually striking and indulgent treat.
Bronze:
Lidl GB – Halloween Spooky Fish Nuggets
A welcome savoury option for Halloween celebrations, these milk- and egg-free nuggets feature fun bat, pumpkin, and ghost shapes. Made from minced Alaska Pollock blended with seasoned mashed potato, they are a hit with younger judges—one described them as “perfect for dipping in vampire’s blood (ketchup)”.
Bronze:
Sweet Keto Chef – Spiced Pumpkin 37
Another standout entry from Sweet Keto Chef, this treat balances a creamy pumpkin spice flavour with a rich butterscotch aroma. With a short, clean ingredient list and erythritol as a natural sweetener, it’s both keto-friendly and satisfying.
Congratulations to all the winners who impressed the judges with their creativity, taste, and commitment to free-from excellence.
