Our main source of Banana Chips is the Philippines, specifically the island of Mindanao in the south of the country. We also source from other origins such as Thailand and Vietnam, which export to various parts of the world.
Saba (cooking) bananas are the variety used for Banana Chips. They grow in abundance in the tropical climates of Asia. Mindanao is the Philippines largest producing island of Banana Chips with exports leaving via the port of Davao.
