FoodSense Gen 4 is a portable electrochemical testing system designed for rapid measurement of capsaicin concentration in chilli-based products. The device enables food manufacturers, laboratories and R&D teams to perform fast, on-site analysis of chilli heat without the need for complex laboratory equipment or lengthy testing procedures.

Using disposable electrochemical sensors and a simple sample preparation workflow, FoodSense delivers results within minutes. This makes it suitable for routine quality control, product development and process optimisation across sauces, powders and many other variations of chilli.

Compared to traditional laboratory methods, FoodSense offers a faster and more cost-efficient approach, allowing multiple tests per sample and more frequent monitoring of product consistency.
