(Folds) per litre of Extract
The word Fold identifies the quantity of Vanilla
Beans used in the production of the Extract.
The higher the Fold the stronger the resulting
product.
1/2 Fold = 50g beans per ltr of extract
1 Fold = 100g beans per ltr of extract
2 Fold = 200g beans per ltr of extract
We reached the decision to produce our own Extracts in the summer of 2018 when we began setting up our production facility and carrying out trials which have proved to be a winner and we are now producing excellent quality Vanilla Extracts that are far superior to that which we were having manufactured for us.
It produces that sweet, creamy, milky, buttery
notes from the vanilla.
A good 2 Fold extract that gives you a more
concentrated flavour. Best suited for use in recipes for baked goods.

If you desire a stronger Vanilla flavour that is achievable with our 2 Fold Extract, we recommend the following:
5ml per ltr of end product = 1 tsp or to taste.
