Information about strengths (Folds) per litre of Extract

Alcohol-Free Extract has a strength of 1.5 fold, which equates to 150g of beans per litre of extract.

The word Fold identifies the quantity of Vanilla Beans used in the production of the Extract.

The higher the Fold the stronger the resulting product.

½ Fold = 50g beans per litre of extract
1 Fold = 100g beans per litre of extract
2 Fold = 200g beans per litre of extract

A good all-purpose Alcohol-Free Vanilla Extract that produces sweet, creamy, milky, buttery notes from the vanilla.

Suited to most uses, including Ice-Cream, Cakes, Crème Brulé, and many more. 

1 tbsp Vanilla Extract is approximately equivalent to one vanilla bean.
