Turkey is the primary source of our Sultanas, specifically from the region near Izmir. Sultanas and Raisins share the same fresh grape origin, with the only distinction being that Sultanas are immersed in a potassium carbonate solution.
This solution softens the grape skin, facilitating the drying process and resulting in the desired lighter finish that customers expect.
