Dr Alex is a Great Taste Award winning, food scientist and nutritionist supporting chefs and foodie entrepreneurs to disrupt our unsustainable food systems deliciously. She specialises in sustainable, plant-based protein and fibre-rich foods and delivers the science insights needed to unlock sustainable, resilient business growth. Dr Alex facilitates academic/business partnerships both through advising the UK's National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC) team on small businesses perspective’ and as a guest senior lecturer at University of Leeds.
