David is Head of Environmental Policy at FDF. There he has worked on several initiatives aimed at delivering improvements in resource efficiency both within members own operations and up and down the supply chain as part of implementation of FDF Sustainability programme of work known as Ambition 2025. This includes projects on both food waste and packaging. David has specific responsibility for leading on FDF’s policy engagement work with Government and other parts of the value chain on the packaging reforms including EPR, DRS and Collection Consistency in line with industry’s desire to  build a truly circular economy for food and drink packaging in the UK that is both effective and cost efficient and delivers the best environmental outcomes.
