20 years ago, Matt Fullbrook & David Taylor first got together, working for the Virgin group. Matt later joined a little start-up business called 'Ben & Jerry's' who wanted to enter the UK market. Together with a small team Matt helped build the brand into the largest luxury ice-cream brand in the UK. They were both united again in 2011 at Fredericks Dairies where David as Managing Director set about delivering growth for the business of more than 20% in just 2 years on the back of industry-leading brand plans, including exclusive supply of Cadbury ice cream to the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. After Froneri bought Fredericks in 2013, Matt, David and our third 'brother' Greg realised that the UK ice-cream market needed a credible alternative to the large companies who dominate, from which the idea for Brand of Brothers was born. It took time to find the right manufacturing partners who could give the business the innovation, quality, scale and efficiencies needed to successfully build brands in the UK and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since.
