Gemma is a Director of People & Culture and a Non-Executive Director. She began her love of hospitality in Food & Beverage, although admits to being awful at it, and quickly found a passion and love for all things People. Her experience spans across corporate, family owned business’ and private equity, in the UK, Europe and Middle East. She has worked with Marriott, Ritz Carlton, The Birley Clubs and more recently moved into the emerging world of Flex Space, she is currently Director of People & Culture for Huckletree. Gemma is passionate about taking a genuine and authentic approach, doing things for all the right reasons (not just a PR moment) and creating environments where everyone has the ability to flourish and be themselves.
