Harriet Trewin is WRAP’s Food System Transformation- Programme Lead for Greenhouse Gases (GHGs), responsible for shaping strategy and driving programmes that strengthen the GHG data landscape and accelerate emissions reductions from farm to fork.
Previously Head of Bioscience for Sustainable Agriculture and Food at UKRI, she led research spanning plant and animal science, soil health, net zero agriculture, nutrition, food safety, and precision agriculture. She holds a PhD in plant science and began her career in plant breeding, developing vegetable varieties with improved traits, including enhanced nutritional quality.
