Jodie Johnston Category Technical Manager for M&S  – Leading technical teams across food on the move, prepared produce and café & hospitality, to implement and deliver market leading innovation ensure the food safety standards and best practices are met across store operations and with our global supplier partners small and large and chair of the building winning teams for the technology function.

Jodie has extensive experience in working within the manufacturing industry from setting up new factories from scratch to working for major global/ UK bands such as McDonald’s UK and Europe to leading technical/ NPD teams for Tesco across UK and Europe and Japan to support a sushi project.

Passionate about the food industry and engaging with schools and universities to support the future talent to support the evolution of the industry. She is a massive coffee lover where she set up a coffee tasting experience from farm to cup in Guatemala.  

Working within many areas both in manufacturing and retailing across fresh/ ambient/ QSR & International it has allowed her to work across the world, learn from others and unlock a number of challenges.
