Former Freight Director of P&O Ferries and Commercial Director of EurotunnelPlus Freight Robert also ran the largest 24 hour customs freight station in the UK, based within the Port of Dover. Awarded UK-Irish Business Person of the Year by the AIBF in 2023 and again in 2024. Robert is also the vice chair of the Trade Facilitation Commission which advises Government on trade openness and economic growth through trade.
